Alathur Service Co-operative Bank is one of the Class 1 Special Grade Banks in Palakkad District and its area of working includes Alathur Panchayath .The bank was computerised in 2004. Now the bank has successfully implemented Core Banking Solution to serve our customers better and takes pain to attend their conveniences. Now there are 21873 members in this Bank.
We have Twenty three permanent staff. Loan with attractive interest including Kissan credit cards are issued to peasants and middle class people. In the last five years the deposits and loans showed a wonderful growth rate.
The bank has its head office near Alathur with locker facilities and its three branches are in Melarcode , H&E Branch Alathur and Cheramangalam Branch. Performance of the bank is being rated as excellent. also doing some other business like fuel pumps, medical stores also.
